In the first postflop hand of the heads up, Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 1,300,000 from the button and Paul Berger defended his big blind. The flop came K♥A♦9♦ and Dzivielevski put out a continuation-bet of 600,000, which Berger check-called.
Berger then checked again on the Q♦ river, but would fold when Dzivielevski upped the ante to 3,000,000 this time.
The next hand, Berger raised his button to 1,300,000 and Dzivielevski put out the first three-bet of the battle, to 3,500,000. Berger quickly folded and another pot was shipped the Brazlian's way.
